Grade II* listed buildings

Parish church. Late C12, extended early C14 with tower of 1689; restored and chancel rebuilt by C.E. Powell in 1878-80.

The Chipping Norton almshouses were built in 1640 for Henry Cornish, a wealthy local man who outlived his wife and all 12 of their children. He donated them to the use of eight godly widows.

Parish church. Mid C12, C13, and 1862-5 work by G.E. Street.

Country house, now nursing home. 1881-91 for Percy Wyndham by Philip Webb, altered 19-30s. Dressed limestone and ashlar, tiled hipped roof with brick and ashlar stacks.

The manor house of Great Milton, located next to the village church, was built in the 15th century and remodeled in the 17th. Today it is home to the hotel and gourmet restaurant La Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.

This Gothic Revival spire in the heart of Oxford commemorates the nearby executions of Archbishop Thomas Cranmer and other Anglican bishops under "Bloody" Queen Mary.

Museum. Coarse local sandstone, rock-faced and snecked, with ashlar dressings.

Public house. Early and later C17, C18 and early C19. Timber-framed and rendered; plaintiled roofs. A 4-bay main range with a parallel range behind it and a 2-bay cross-wing. 2 gable-end chimney-stacks on the south.

Great hall of Bishop of Winchester's palace (remains), now incorporated in warehouses. Early C14.
