John Willet engineer, James Abernethy ironfounder 1854. 2 cast iron arched spans of over 100', cast in 4 sections and bolted, cross-stayed below; arcaded spandrels, wooden deck and parapets. Granite approaches and centre pier of distinctive outline.

Built by the railway company. Tolls were not abolished till 1962. Inscription:- JAMES ABERNETHY & CO FERRYHILL FOUNDRY ABERDEEN 1854. De-scheduled 17 December 1996.
