Dated 1861, possibly incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan former schoolhouse. Roughly coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings. N ELEVATION: symmetrical. Centre bay with corniced door (altered to window), windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration close to eaves at first floor. S ELEVATION: rear elevation, detail obscured by boundary wall.. E ELEVATION: blank gabled elevation with dominant gablehead stack and high boundary wall abutting at outer left. W ELEVATION: as E elevation but with gate at outer right adjoining boundary wall. 4- and 12-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with full complement of cans, some polygonal. Ashlar-coped skews. BOUNDARY WALLS: high rubble boundary walls, that to W semicircular-coped.
