A.I.R. Drummond Old Clackmannanshire p.42 O.S.A. v.XIV p.641 appears to be referring to these buildings in mentioning those built ex-demolition. Hartshaw Tower (said to have been similar to Sauchie) at the beginning of the 18th century.
