SZ6499NW KING STREET, Southsea 774-1/22/382 (South side) Nos.80-86 (Even)

GV II

4 terraced houses. c1850. Red brick in Flemish bond, yellow stock brick long and short dressings to quoins and windows. Welsh slate mansard roof, brick stack to right of No.80, left of No.86 and between Nos 82 and 84. 2 storeys, basement and attic, 6 bays (bays 2 and 5 blinded). To the right of Nos 82 and 86 and to the left of Nos 80 and 84 is a recessed 2-panelled door with overlight, each approached by 4 steps with attached railings. Each pair of doors, Nos 80/82 and 84/86 are set within a wide central porch with flanking pilasters and cornice. To left of Nos 82 and 86 and right of No.80, and to first floor is a 12-pane sash, each set under flat rendered lintel, to right of No.84 and to first floor each sash is margin glazed; window opening over each porch is blinded; paired dentil course and stone coped parapet. Each has C20 flat roofed dormer. C20 restored attached railings to fronts. INTERIOR not inspected.
