GV II

Public house. c1850. Stucco and tiles. Welsh slate hipped roof, rendered stack to left at rear and brick stack to right between 2nd and 3rd bays. 3 storeys, 4 bays. Main front faces Norfolk Street. Ground floor front is faced with brown and yellow plain and moulded glazed tiles and bricks. On left is a 6 moulded panelled door set within splayed corner to King Street, with 10-pane overlight. To right is a pub front casement with 3-light 18-pane overlight. Further right are 3 similar 6-panelled doors, each with 8-pane overlight. To right of first door is a narrow pub front casement with 2-light 12-pane overlight. To right of second door is a casement and a 12-pane sash. Windows and doors are set under flat arches with rounded corners and are flanked by panelled Ionic pilasters. First floor has 4 sashes, one 8-panes and three 6-panes. Second floor has 4 sashes, left sash 12-pane unequal. Left return to King Street is similar 1 bay wide.
