House, part of irregular terrace that steps up from right. 1770-1780. Probably developed by John Wood the Younger. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar painted to ground floor, double pitched slate mansard roof with two paired dormers and moulded stacks to the left party wall. PLAN: Double depth plan. EXTERIOR: Three storeys with attics and basements, three-window front. Slightly returned coped parapet, stopped cornice and ground floor platband, painted splayed reveals, six/six-pane sash windows, those to first floor with lowered sills, those to ground floor with horns, trellised balcony to first floor, engaged Tuscan columns to doorcase to right with former pediment replaced by blocking course; and six-panel door raised and fielded to centre, reeded to base and glazed to top. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
