GV II

House, now a cafe. C16, incorporating remains of a medieval building, with late C18 and C19 alterations. Close studded timber framing with stone rear wall and brick plinth, and steep pitched pantile roof. Jettied first floor. 2 storeys plus attics, 2 bays. Off-centre beaded doorcase with overlight, flanked to left by 3 glazing bar oriel windows with cornices, the central one smaller. To right, a similar window with small flanking lights. All the windows have iron brackets. Above, two 2-light sliding sashes, that to the right being smaller. Above again, 2 segment headed dormers with a glazing bar sash and a sliding sash.
