GV II
House, now a restaurant. C16, refronted C18, with C19 alterations. Close studded north wall, colourwashed brick front, pantile roof. Stone plinth, brick first floor band. 2 storeys plus attics, single bay. Full width shopfront, mid C19, with pilasters and cornice, and central window with wooden mullions flanked by single smaller windows. To left, a beaded panelled half-glazed door with inscribed overlight. Above, a central bowed oriel window, early C19. Above again, central raking dormer with a 2-light sliding sash. INTERIOR has a close-studded wall and spine beams. Mid C19 winder stair.
