GV II

House, now house and shop. Mid C18, with early and mid C19 alterations. Brick, painted and partly rendered, with plain tile roof and a gable stack. Rendered plinth, first floor band, moulded wood eaves cornice, brick coped gables. 2 storeys plus attics, 2 bays. Full width shopfront, early C19, with enriched frieze. Central blocked doorway with pilaster surround, now a window, flanked by single tripartite sashes. To right, a moulded doorcase with a dummy fanlight and half-glazed panelled door. Above, to left, a square wooden oriel window, late C19, with cornice. To right, a plain sash. Above again, a box dormer with a C20 casement. INTERIOR has a room with full height fielded panelling and cornice and plain spine beam, and early C19 stair with stick balusters.
