ST MICHAEL'S STREET 1. 1485 (North Side) Nos 4 & 6 SP 5l06 SW 8/275 12.1.54 II GV 2. Houses and modern shops. RCHM 119. 1 building. C16-Cl7 with a Cl7 wing on north. Much altered 2-storeyed rubble, brick and timber-ftsminh eith cellars and a Welsh slate roof There is a central red brick stack. Shop fronts to ground floor. No 4 has the 1st floor rebuilt in red brick with a double sash window in a stone frame. Above it is a large gable with modern bargeboards and a 2-light sash window. No 6 has the 1st floor stuccoed and painted with a new bow window with a casement light in a wooden frame. Above it is a large sash similar to that in No 4. Interior: RCHM page 171a. Some exposed timber framing. Major alterations 1971.
