CASSINGTON WORTON SP41SE 11/42 Rectory Farmhouse - II Farmhouse. C17, remodelled 1808. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate and concrete tile (to right) roofs; stone end and ridge stacks, and moulded ashlar end stack to left. U-plan with rear wings. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Segmental stone arch over C20 door with gabled hood. Hood moulds over 2- and 3-light chamfered windows to main range, with eaves raised in early C19, and to cross-wing on right. Similar mullioned windows to side walls. Late C18/early C19 rear left wing of similar materials. Interior not inspected but noted as having chamfered beams. (Information from VCH).
