CHURCH STREET 1. 1146 King's School ('Old School' fronting Church Street) SK 9136 SW 7/29 8.5.50 I 2. Schoolroom built 1497. Stone; stone slate roof; large single room built in 6 bays with open timber roof; original windows in side walls and four-light windows in west gabled wall, which is surmounted by a pelican; doorway in east wall with inner four-centred and square outer head.
