TQ 2882 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER YORK TERRACE WEST 35/33 REGENT'S PARK NWl 5.2.70 No 34 (Formerly listed as No 5 York Terrace) GV I Terraced town house, now flats. c.1824-26 by John Nash as part of his Regent's Park Crown Estate development. Stucco; slate roof. Recessed in balanced composition with Nos 35 to 47 q.v. but as a distinct facade; entrance to rear. 4 storeys (including attic storey). 3 windows wide. Channelled stucco ground floor with sashes recessed for one order. 1st floor has semicircular arched windows and the upper floor windows have architraves. Cornice over ground floor and main cornice below attic storey with cornice and blocking course. Anthemion patterned cast iron balconettes to 1st floor. John Nash; John Summerson.
