  1. Probably early C19. Flint, slate roof with red tile ridge. Brick rusticated quoins, the whole painted white. 2 storeys, 2 windows, flat arches, casements. On ground floor - 2 C19 rectangular shop bays flanking a low doorway, cambered arch.

Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close: Post Office: Pelham Cottage: Premises occupied by F G French etc: and Nos 18 to 21 (consec) Malthouse Cottages form a group.
