The original portion of this mansion was built in circa 1730. Two storeys and attics. Plum and russet brick. Hipped tiled roof. Wooden modillion eaves cornice. Glazing bars intact. The main front faces north. Seven windows. The 3 centre window bays project with a pediment over containing a round-headed attic window. Brick stringcourse. Central doorcase with fluted pilasters, triglyph frieze and pediment. The wings have 2 windows and one pedimented dormer each. To the north-west is a long wing of 1909 of 7 windows in matching style. The east front has 3 windows and 3 dormers, the south front 5 windows and 3 dormers, the west front 3 windows and 3 dormers. The last has a doorway, now the main entrance, with pilasters, curved shell-headed hood and doors of 6-fielded panels at the head of 4 steps.
