ST 45 NW WINSCOMBE STATION ROAD Sandford 3/24 Block house to former Sandford Station
G.V. II Block house; housed early signalling equipment. 1869, Francis Fox, engineer to the Bristol and Exeter Railway Company. Snecked rubble, freestone dressings, double Roman clay tile roof. One room. Single storey, pitched roof and gables, later brick chimney. One casement window to north, one to south, plain boarded door to east. Included for group value.
