BEVERLEY FLEMINGATE TA 0339 (north side) 10/48 The Sun Inn 2.7.69 GV II C16 and late C18. 2 storeys, half-timber and colour-washed brick. 1st floor is half-timbered, partly with herringbone brick infill, colour-washed. This storey overhangs the ground floor on a series of plain corbels (ends of joists). 1st floor has 2 reglazed sash windows, 1 small leaded casement with glazing bars. Ground floor has an early C19 shop front with reeded frame with paterae, now converted to an ordinary window and glazed in large panes. 2 late C18 sash windows and 1 modern door. The brickwork of the ground floor is roughcast and colour washed. New tile roof. Interior altered. Tumbled brickwork to painted gable end.
