Chapel of the hospital for lepers founded by Henry I it was rebuilt early in C14 by Oriel College who received it from their founder Adam de Brome The West doorway is of late Cl4 date. The low pitched roof-timbers, 1524-5, by Robert Carow, carpenter. Restored in C17 (circa 1651) when screen was erected. For its state in 1820, see two drawings by J C Buckler in Bodl. MS. Don. a 3 II 122, 123. (RCHM 42).
