KIMBOLTON HIGH STREET TL 095675 (NORTH-EAST SIDE) 6/46 NOS. 4, 6 AND 8 24.10.51 (PARRATT'S GARAGE) GV II

Long, timber-framed C17 range parallel to street with garage entrance to north-west. Two storeys. Timber-frame roughcast rendered with applied decorative timber. Steeply pitched plain tiled roofs with some C17 ridge tiles. Three ridge stacks. Four flat roofed dormer windows with horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Five first floor windows include two with horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars in moulded wooden frames. Three house doors, panelled with C19 reeded architraves. Two modern casement windows and shop window. Interior has some C17 oak panelling and C18 panelling with C19 details. RCHM (Hunts) p174, mon(18).
