GV II

Town house now shop/dwelling. Early C17, front rebuilt c1646. Timber-frame with plaster infill and brick underbuilding; tile roof. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Jettied 2nd floor. C19 or C20 shop front to right end has small-paned window to left of entrance with half-glazed door, entablature; entrance to left end has brick flat arch over 6-flush-panel door (No.20A). Window to ground floor left of centre has paired 12-pane sash; 1st floor has large 6-pane sashes in architraves; 2nd floor has similar small 9-pane sashes. Close studding, with braces to 2nd floor. Short gabled rear wing with end stack and later addition and outshut under catslide roof to right.
