TQ 2881 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER LANGHAM PLACE Wl 56/42 22.11.73 Nos 14 and 15 - II Office block: c.1930 by Sir Herbert Baker and Scott. Portland stone ashlar. Hipped slated roof. Five storeys, basements, attic and dormers. Six windows with 3 windows return to Cavendish Place. Rusticated ground and first floor, and quoins. Cornice with attic storey set back behind balustraded parapet. String at first floor level. Recessed windows, second floor with architraves, first floor with rusticated voussoirs. Recessed round arched ground floor windows, with cartouche keys. Square headed recessed doorways with voussoirs. The block continues the scale and style of the rebuilding of Regent Street.
