1099 WAVERLEY LANE (North Side) No.5 (Waverley close entire range) (formerly listed as Broomleaf entire range)

C18. 2 storey. Brick on projecting plinth. String at first floor level. Moulded brick cornice. Hipped old tile roof. 5 windows with architrave frames, no glazing bars on 1st floor. 4 similar windows on ground floor, formerly 6-panel central door in arched panelled reveal, now half-glazed and latered to for a window. Plain fanlight and doorcase of fluted Doric pilasters, the cap moulding carried round reveals and across doorhead with narrow architrave to arch over, and broken entablature with pediment, all of delicate design. A long L-shaped range of 2 storey buildings to left hand forming 3-sided court, formerly barns and stables now converted to living quarters. High modern brick wall with segmental brick piers, moulded stone coping, rebuilt owing to road widening. The whole group picturesque.
