TQ 3080 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER STRAND LANE, WC2 73/22 St Clement's Watch House 5.2.70 G.V. II Watch house. Early C19. Stuccoed brick, slate roof. 3 storeys and dormered mansard. 2 windows wide, partly bridging the Lane above ground floor. Doorway giving on to covered way. One casement window to ground floor south front. 1st floor has 2 French casements with margin glazing, screened by good Regency tent roof verandah-balcony with anthemion patterned standards and rails. 2 recessed glazing bar sashes to 2nd floor. Parapet with coping.
