GV II

Shop and flats. c1840. Grey-brown brick and stucco. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: symmetrical, of 3 storeys and 3 bays. The ground floor has an original C19 stucco shopfront with elaborate pilasters, a cornice, and large lead-covered caps to the end brackets. Above, the facade has brick pilaster strips to left and right and a projecting central bay. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with a sill band on the 2nd floor. The central window on the first floor has a moulded architrave with a cornice on console brackets, and a timber balustrade. The 2nd floor window above has an architrave. The gutter cornice is carried on projecting timber brackets. Gable chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
