Wall, railings and gates forming boundary to forecourt to The Judge's Lodging (qv). c1853. By William Walker. Rendered brick wall, cast-iron gates, gate posts and railings. Low wall surmounted by turned railings with spearhead tips and standards with mace head finials. Gate posts are fluted columns with ball finials: gate rails similar to wall railings and stiles have anthemion finials. (York Historian: Malden J: The Walker Ironfoundry, York, c.1825-1923: York: 1976-: 51).
