GV II

House, now shop. Mid C19 with C20 alterations and shopfront. Orange-grey brick in Flemish bond with timber cornice, slate roof and brick stack. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-window front. Shopfront framed in plain pilasters beneath moulded and dentilled cornice on grooved brackets: glazed and panelled shop door recessed to right of centre and 6-panel door to left of plate glass windows bordered in coloured glass. Doors and windows have overlights and clerestories with lozenge glazing bars. First and second floor windows are 12-pane sashes with slender glazing bars and flat brick arches, and stone sill band to those on second floor. Heavy modillioned eaves cornice. INTERIOR: not inspected.
