TQ 2782 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER IVOR PLACE, NW1 34/36 Nos. 29 to 33 (consec) G.V. II Terrace of homes with shops to Nos. 32 and 33, and No. 32 incorporating mews access. c.1815-20, Portman Estate development associated with Gloucester Place qv. which the terrace abuts. Stock and plum brick, No. 29 with channelled stucco ground floor and No. 30 with plain stucco ditto; slate roofs concealed. 2-window wide fronts except for 3 window front of No. 32 extended over mews entrance. Semicircular arched doorways to left with panelled doors and patterned fanlights. Nos. 32 and 33 have delicately detailed wooden shop fronts, No. 33 with panelled frame and with its window slightly bowed, No. 32 with narrow pilasters, under narrow entablature-fascias. Recessed glazing bar sashes, under flat gauged arches, except for segmental arches to windows above mews entrance of No. 32. Plat band over the stuccoed ground floors. Continuous stone coped parapet. No. 29 has cast iron geometric patterned balcony to 1st floor and No. 31 has balconettes, No. 29 has urn finialed area railings. Included for group value only.
