SP 1037 BROADWAY CP HIGH STREET (south side) 9/114 Barn approximately 10 metres west of No 143 (Hawsted House) 30.7.59 GV II Barn, now garage and store. Circa 1800, altered early and mid-C20. Limestone rubble with stone slate roof. East wall has central entrance with plain reveals, now filled by C20 weatherboarding above garage doors. To the left are ventilation slits. To the right of the entrance is a break in the roofline. At the south end of the ridge is an iron weathervane. Adjoining the south gable wall is a lower open projection with a hipped end carried on square stone piers. Interior: truss at southern end of barn is of sawn softwood. Included for group vlaue.
