BUCKLEBURY PEASE HILL SU 57 SE (east side) 6/23 Kitchen and Theatre Block approximately 10 metres to north of Bucklebury House. 25.10.51 (formerly listed as Stable Block at The Old Manor) GV II Kitchen and workshop, now theatre. Circa 1800. Red brick with old tile hipped roof, end stack to west and central timber cupola with bell and ogee lead cap. L-plan. One storey. South front: 3 bays, 2 large glazing bar sashes to left with exposed wooden boxes, 4-panelled door to right with small glazing bar sash above. Theatre block to rear with lower half hipped roof and 2 segmental headed casements to west. Interior: Kitchen block contains contemporary fireplace with spit, fan, pulleys and grate, dated 1809 W.H.H.H. Sashes retain shutters.
