SU 67 NW BASILDON READING ROAD (north-east side)

Cottage. Late C18 with C18 addition to right and C19 addition to left. Timber framed with white painted brick nogging and partial refacing, and later white painted additions to left and right. Old tile roof, half hipped to left, with slightly higher eaves to right, and large half hipped gabled eaves dormer off-centre to left with 3-light leaded casement. Ridge stack off-centre to left and stack behind ridge off-centre to right. 2 central framed bays. 1 storey and attic. Central ground floor 5-light leaded casement to left and 3-light segmental-headed leaded casement to right. Entrance in right-hand gable end to right with C20 boarded door.
