Description

House, C15, C17 and early C19. Flint, close studding frame, rendered brick and thatch, 2 storeys. Main facade, ground floor Precinct wall to (9V) Close with C19 doorcase, first floor jettied close studded framing with 2 timber casement windows (one with C19 hood mould), plus 2 further blocked windows, three-light and four-light.

TG 2308 NE BISHOPGATE (south side) 17/83 5.6.72 Nos. 52 and 54. GV II* House, C15, C17 and early C19. Flint, close studding frame, rendered brick and thatch, 2 storeys. Main facade, ground floor Precinct wall to (9V) Close with C19 doorcase, first floor jettied close studded framing with 2 timber casement windows (one with C19 hood mould), plus 2 further blocked windows, three-light and four-light. Dormer above door with three-light casement. Stepped gable ends. Garden elevation, three storey projecting porch, open to ground floor, now glazed. Projecting single- storey bay to right. One window each side of porch on ground; at first floor tall three-light casements with hood mould over.
