SP3003-3103 BAMPTON CHURCH CLOSE (South-west side) 13/68 Chest tomb to George Knapp, in Churchyard of St. Mary's c.5m N of N aisle
GV II Chest tomb with inscription to George Knapp 1792 and wife Catherine 1803. Limestone ashlar. Moulded base, cornice lid and top; recessed corners with heavy square balusters. Inscription panel to south has traces of shallow relief foliage in corners.
