  1. CORNMARKET STREET 1485 (West Side) No 40 SP 5106 SW 8/292 12.1.54. II GV 2. House and shop. RCHM 107. A C17 structure refronted in C18. 4-storeyed stuccoed timber-framed with a shop front in the ground floor. In the 1st floor and 2nd floor is a projecting 3-sided bay with C19 sash windows. In the 3rd floor a C18-19 sash window in a moulded wood frame. At one time one of the original C17 gables was visible at the back. Roof not visible.

Nos 38 to 42 (consec) form a group.
