5/222 The Parsonage and Parsonage Cottage

II Estate cottages. Late C19, for J. Lovibond of Lake House (q.v.). In-situ concrete with integral vertical timbers, thatched roof. Two storeys and attic, each cottage is of 2 bays with rustic timber thatched porch to outer bays, replaced on The Parsonage. Timber casement windows, the upper windows cut up into thatch. Two brick stacks. An unusual use of in-situ concrete.
