SE 4066 BOROUGHBRIDGE LOW ROAD, ALDBOROUGH 6/45 (north side)

(Glebe Cottage) GV Nos 1 and 2 II

House and cottage. Probably early C18. Pinkish-brown local brick. Dentilled eaves and 3-course stepped 1st floor band. Coursed cobble plinth. Rendered gable ends. Swept pantile roof with raised brick verges. Off-centre ridge chimney. 2 storeys. 3 Yorkshire sashes to 1st floor. Segmental brick arches in brick work of ground floor indicate some change in openings. No. 1 is 2 bays with a central panelled door under a soldier arch flanked by Yorkshire sashes. No. 2 is one bay with panelled door to left and one Yorkshire sash.
