- Built shortly after 1793 on the lines of Lansdowne Crescent, Bath, by James Audus the elder (1752-1809), a prominent ship-owner. His son James, an amateur architect, completed The Crescent after the father's death. Rendered. Hipped pantile roof. Three storeys. Parapet. Continuous first floor sill band. Two bays: sashes with raised voussoirs. Good public house front: pilasters with sunk panels, moulded capitals with dentilled cornice, door with 4 fielded panels and fanlight with glazing bars. Two-storey brown brick extensions to rear.
