EARDISLEY CP A 4112 (south side) SO 34 NW 6/49 Barn and stable about 15 yards north-east of Great Parton Farmhouse GV II Barn and stable. Early C18, altered mid- to late C19. Timber-framed with lath infill and weatherboarding on rubble base with some handmade brick walling. Machine-tiled roof with parapet, kneelers and tumbled brickwork detail at west end. Ten bays aligned east/west; wagon bays with opposed cart entries and double doors in third and seventh bays from east end. Partly two levels. Framing: four panels from sill to wall-plate. North front elevation: there are four square loft openings and a small double doorway. A C19 single-bay wing of coursed rubble with brick dressings projects from bay 6 and there is a C19 lean-to rubble outshut adjoining bay 10. Interior: roof has intermediate tie-beam trusses with two pairs of raking struts and three tiers of trenched purlins.
