Description

Garden wall and shelter shed, c.1820. Wall brick in English garden wall bond 1 and 5, with 2 courses of sandstone; shelter shed rubble with cut dressings, Welsh slate roof. Tall wall with flat stone coping, containing 4 small arched recesses (one blocked) with projecting curved stone sills, to hold bee skips.

Garden wall and shelter shed, c.1820. Wall brick in English garden wall bond 1 and 5, with 2 courses of sandstone; shelter shed rubble with cut dressings, Welsh slate roof. Tall wall with flat stone coping, containing 4 small arched recesses (one blocked) with projecting curved stone sills, to hold bee skips. Pent shelter shed to rear has arcade of 4 arches with monolithic segmental stone lintels; left arch blocked, with later window inserted. Lower wall to front left, without coping, not of interest.
