GV II

Gatehouse. 1583, rebuilt c1965 (owing to foundations slipping) with a reproduction of the stucco south facade added 1967. Stucco with rusticated ground floor. Slate roof with dormer. 4 storeys and attic. 1 window. Elliptical arch over carriage way with smaller round-headed arch to footway at left. Oriel through 1st to 3rd floor with 3-light sash windows flanked by round-headed niches. Parapet. North side rebuilt in brick. INTERIOR: not inspected.
