SE 4066 BOROUGHBRIDGE THE SQUARE, ALDBOROUGH (east side) 6/74 Castle House - GV II
House. Mid C19 with slightly later porch. Pinkish-brown brick with stone dressings and stepped and dentilled eaves. Fish scale tile roof with raised stone verges and kneelers. End chimneys. Tudor Revival style. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Projecting square brick porch with stone battlements, quoins, band and 2-light mullion windows with shouldered heads. Entrance to left side. Stone chamfered-mullioned 2-light windows, with stone surrounds and hood moulds, have lozenge leaded glazing. Group value within The Square.
