SETTLE CHAPEL SQUARE SD 8263 11/6 Liverpool House II
Formerly 2 houses, now guest house. c.1760s with mid C19 alterations. Watershot masonry, stone dressings, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 4 bays. 3 steps up to 2 entrances with plain surrounds and hoods; 5 panel doors. To right is entrance to yard at ground level with chamfered lintel and 6 panel door, lower 2 now boarded. All windows have plain surrounds, projecting sills and 16 pane sashes: 2 windows on ground floor and 4 on first and second floors, except second bay of first floor which has sashes with glazing bars. Modillions at eaves. Gable end and centre ridge stacks.
