CATTERICK LOW GREEN SE 29 NW (north side) 8/38 Nos 6 and 7, Academy Buildings (formerly listed as No 2 4.2.69 and No 4 Low Green)

2 houses. Mid C18. Coursed rubble, C20 pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Entry now from rear. Quoins. Openings have ashlar surrounds with tripartite keystones and 4-pane sash windows. Ground-floor surrounds continue down to ground. Between windows 1 and 2, 2 and 3 on ground floor, cobble blocking of former doorways. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. Brick stacks at ends and between bays 2 and 3. Name refers to C19 Roman Catholic Academy of Saint Paulinus.
