AMESBURY - SU 1541 11/5 Ornamental Vase, west of west facade of Amesbury Abbey
GV II Garden ornament in form of a large vase on a plinth. C18. Limestone. A tapered vessel with four lions' heads holding ring handles, mounted on floral band, and with swags below. Gadrooned rim, probably originally carrying a sundial, now missing.
