11/44 The New Inn

10.1.53 II Inn. Early C19, incorporating earlier work of mid C17. Roughcast with tiled roof. Two storeys, 6 bays. Six panelled door in second bay with canopy on iron brackets, and subsidiary doors in bays 4 and 6. Sixteen-paned sash but 24-paned sash window to right of main door, with a moulded architrave. C20 bow window to bay 6 replacing canted bay. Right end bay returns by 2 bays forming wing to rear. Interior has deeply chamfered cross ceiling beams with scoop stops in left bay. Remainder much altered. Single tier clasped purlin roof.
