ST 45 NW WINSCOMBE STATION ROAD Sandford 3/23 Former Sandford Station G.V. II Offices formerly station building. 1869. Francis Fox, engineer to the Bristol and Exeter Railway Company. Snecked rubble with free stone dressings. Plain clay tiles, some scalloped, crested ridge tiles. T plan containing waiting room, booking hall, lavatories and ancillary offices. One storey and loft. Windows and doors in segmental headed openings mainly under 3 large gables with very ornate bargeboards. Lean-to canopy to platform missing.
