Description

One building, C18; 3 storeys with attics; purple-red brick with rubbed red brick dressings; tile roof; dentil wood cornice. 5 windows (those to No 30 with glazing bars); 3 hipped dormers in roof; original shop front to No 30, with 2 shop windows and central,doorway with semi-elliptical heads and glazing bars carried up in two-centred heads; divided by reeded pilasters and with side doorway on left of shop with 6 fielded panelled door and glazed fanlight in semi-circular head.

TRINITY STREET 1. 942 (West Side) Nos 30 and 31 TL 4458 NE 3/188 26.4.50. II* GV 2. One building, C18; 3 storeys with attics; purple-red brick with rubbed red brick dressings; tile roof; dentil wood cornice. 5 windows (those to No 30 with glazing bars); 3 hipped dormers in roof; original shop front to No 30, with 2 shop windows and central,doorway with semi-elliptical heads and glazing bars carried up in two-centred heads; divided by reeded pilasters and with side doorway on left of shop with 6 fielded panelled door and glazed fanlight in semi-circular head. Modern shop front to No 31. Old rainwater pipe with shaped head. The Georgian shop front to No 30 is a particularly good example of its kind. No 30 has the original staircase and other good contemporary fittings. Restored and now part of one build with No 29 and Nos 32 and 34. (RCHM ll4). Nos 26 to 38 (consec) form a group.
