SP 70 NW KINGSEY RISBOROUGH ROAD (south side)

House. C17, C18 and C19. Timber-framed house, altered C18 and extended to form letter-L plan house. Infilled to south east late C19 with 2 gabled wings. West front mainly rubblestone, brick dressed with some brick and some roughcast. Other elevations mainly brick. 3 bays with extended eaves to north over outshot. Old tile roofs, 2 storeys. West entrance elevation has centre bay with extended eaves to fill gap between outer bays. Board door with lean-to hood. 2 light and 3-light casement, 2-light dormer above. Right bay rubblestone with plinth, rising up to brick gable stack. Timber-framing exposed at right. Left bay roughcast on timber-frame to upper floor with 3- light casement. South gable elevation has exposed framing. Rear elevation has 2 south gabled wings late C19 brick with sashes. North wing chequer brick with stone plinth, moulded verge, eaves and band course, mid C18. Two 3-light casements. Interior. Exposed timber framing. Chamfered and stopped cross and spine beams to centre bay, chamfered and stopped spine beams to other bays, lozenge stops to right hand room, ground floor.
