TQ 2679 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER EXHIBITION ROAD, SW7 94/10 (east side) 14.1.70 Nos 49 to 58 (consec) Princes Gate. GV II Grand symmetrical terrace of houses. Mid C19. Stucco. Roofs not visible. Four storeys plus attic and basement. Three windows wide to each house. Centre pair and end houses set forward slightly with rusticated quoins. Channelling to ground floor. Doric porches. First floor windows flanked by Ionic half columns and pilasters. Balustraded balconies. Second floor windows flanked by Corinthian half columns and pilasters with pediment to centre of each house. Segmental heads to third floor. Very rich modillion cornice. Attic with segmental headed windows. Subsidiary cornice. Cast iron area railings.
