  1. C19. 'Gothic' generally in style of French chateau. Stone. The left hand wing is of 2 storeys; 5 2-light windows in pointed arched hood moulds. Buttresses. Belfry tower. This wing abuts the houses above and overlooks the Priory ruins. The right hand wing is of 3 storeys; one tiered 3-light bay window; other fenestration nondescript. Door in moulded stone recess with hood mould and armorial panel above. 3 stone gables. 2 massive octagonal stone towers with conical lead and slated roofs embody the bases of towers of the monastic church, of which there are extensive remains in the basement.
